Team news
Juventus
This summer has seen another period of change for the Turin giants. For starters, Juventus broke two records during the transfer market. The first was the €90 million paid to Napoli for Gonzalo Higuain, which is the highest ever amount paid for a player transferring between two Italian sides. And the second was the €105 million they are set to receive from Manchester United for Paul Pogba's return to Old Trafford. Meanwhile, just like last season, the Bianconeri have been active in bringing in some new faces, including Miralem Pjanic, Dani Alves, and Mehdi Benatia.
In terms of personnel, Allegri will have most of his key players available. Higuain, however, will not likely start given the fact that he is not still in top shape, whilst Claudio Marchisio is still out due to a knee injury.
Fiorentina
Fiorentina, by contrast were a lot quieter in the summer transfer market, with the only notable incoming player being Cristian Tello from Barcelona. The Viola, who finished in fifth last season, will have to make do without key man Borja Valero due to a sprained ankle. Whilst Fiorentina did beat Juventus in Turin less than two years ago in the Coppa Italia, the Tuscan side overall have a long and frustrating record when it comes to facing La Vecchia Signora. However, they will look to Udinese - who beat Juve at Juventus Stadium on matchday one last season - for inspiration as they look to overcome their hoodoo versus the Bianconeri.

Team news
AC Milan
It may have seemed like it took forever, but Milan are finally under new ownership after Silvio Berlusconi opted to sell the Rossoneri to a Chinese consortium. Due to the delays, the club have not been active in acquisitions over the past few months. By contrast, there have been a slew of players to depart, including Jeremy Menez, Stephan El Shaarawy, and Philippe Mexes. However, they again will begin this season with yet another new tactician on the bench. Vincenzo Montella represents the sixth manager to lead the club since Allegri was sacked in 2014, and the club's weary supporters will hope that the former Fiorentina and Sampdoria manager will finally be able to help the team get back on track.
Having finished in seventh last term, Milan will again be missing out on European competition, and naturally, the Diavolo will be hoping to end this long hiatus by finishing higher in the table at the conclusion of this campaign. The hosts may be missing skipper Riccardo Montolivo for this match.
Torino
As for the Granta, Mihajlovic will have his own personal reasons for wanting to leave San Siro with all three points. Despite leading the Rossoneri to their first Coppa Italia final in 13 seasons, the Serbian tactician was nonetheless sacked by Berlusconi and replaced by former youth team manager Cristian Brocchi. Torino have brought in quite a few new players in a bid to break into the top half of the table, and will be coming into this game having strolled to a comfortable 4-1 win in their first Coppa Italia tie.
