Arsenal have made their fourth summer signing.

Premier League side Arsenal have completed the signing of Kelechi Nwakali from the Diamond Football Academy. The Nigerian playmaker joins the Gunners on a five-year-deal. At just 18 years of age, the youngster is widely seen as one of the most promising talents in the world of football. He confirmed the switch to the North London club on his Twitter account:

Nwakali has been a top transfer target for the Premier League side since January this year. He was in sensational form for the Super Eagles in the U17s World Cup in Chile last December, scoring three goals to secure the 5th title for Nigeria in the competition after helping his side see off Mali.

Judging from his Twitter activity, it seems he also took part in his first training session with the Gunners. He uploaded another photo with the caption ‘Training finished today in London Colney.’

Nwakali cost Arsenal approximately £3m. He is now the fourth signing for Arsene Wenger, who has so far secured the services of midfielder Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach, striker Takuma Asano from Sanfrecce Hiroshima and defender Rob Holding from Bolton Wanderers.
