Manchester United fans must eagerly be awaiting the confirmation of the Paul Pogba deal, but their hopes of seeing the Frenchman return has been rocked by recent remarks made the player himself.
The 23-year-old Juventus ace, currently on holiday in New York, was approached by two Bianconeri fans from ITFV channel. After signing an autograph and posing for a picture, the Frenchman was asked whether he will be staying with the Serie A champions.
His response: “Yes.”
Does this mean Pogba will be staying in Turin? It’s unlikely. Despite his response, his move to Old Trafford for a world-record fee of £100m is expected to go through.
Spanish publication AS claim that Pogba’s Red Devils move will be finalized and confirmed on Wednesday. The 23-year-old will reportedly put pen to paper on a five-year deal.
