Desperate times call for desperate measures...

The summer transfer window must be an extra frustrating period for Arsenal fans due to the club’s activity – or lack of it.

However, it seems on Arsenal supporter took matters into his own hand in order to please his fellow Gooners and bring the signing they’ve been crying for.

On late Monday, pictures started doing the rounds on Twitter showing Arda Turan – a man linked with an Emirates Stadium – in an Arsenal kit, leading many to believe the move was happening.

Not that the north London giants are in need of another midfielder, but the Barca ace’s arrival would have gravely uplifted the fans’ spirits.

However, it didn’t take too long before holes were poked in this report. Shortly after it appeared on social media, it was called out for being fake.

Many soon realized that the tracksuit the Turkish ace was wearing was from last year, which could only mean one thing: the picture was photoshopped.

It’s back to hoping for Mahrez and/or Lacazette for the Gooners.
