Argentina sports magazine El Gráfico claims that La Pulga won’t reverse his decision, and for a number of reasons.

Argentina fans praying for the return of Lionel Messi may be left heartbroken, as a recent report has emerged claiming that the 29-year-old superstar won’t go back on his decision to quit the national side.

According to El Gráfico (as per Barca Blaugranes), the Spanish Primera Division legend won’t return to La Albiceleste until the current chaos in the football federation is cleared up.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner reportedly demands more investment in nourishing young talents after going through three consecutive painful final defeats from 2014 to 2016.

To make things worse, the report writes that Messi was not impressed with Argentina’s decision to appoint Edgardo Bauza as he sees it to be the federation’s failure to go all out for the national side.

Edgardo Bauza, Argentina

The two-time World Cup winners were keen on Diego Simeone, Jorge Sampaoli, Mauricio Pocchettino, and Marcelo Bielsa, but missed out on their top targets.

Instead, Argentine opted for Bauza, the last choice former Sau Paulo boss who will now be tasked with guiding the hurting country.
