Barcelona youngster Munir El-Haddadi, who has extended his contract with the Catalan giants for three more years, has revealed his thoughts on the club's search for a new striker.

Los Blaugranas are reported to be interested in signing a new frontman this summer to backup Barca's lethal trio consisted of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Neymar.

The 20-year-old forward spoke to the media following his side's training session at Saint George's Park in England and did not have any harsh feelings about his team's decision to sign a fourth striker.

"Whoever arrives will be welcome because I'm sure they'll come to risk a lot.

"I would only leave if the club asked me to go.

"From the first day I came up to the first team until now I have [felt valued].

"The club looks out for me, helps me and I am very happy."

The Madrid-born player also claims he is not too pressured about his playing time if La Liga champions complete a deal with another forward, saying:

"Whatever has to happen will happen.

"I will keep working and will talk about that with the coach, because [I am flexible in position] I don't know what will happen.

"Obviously, I would like [more playing time] and I will give everything I have to earn it."

Munir made 20 appearances and scored nine goals in his 2015/2016 campaign with Messi and Co.
