The French midfielder praised almost all of his previous coaches with the Bavarian side, with the only exception of the Catalan tactician.

Pep Guardiola may be one of the best coaches in the world, but his leadership skills are once more under questioning after Franck Ribery's words for German magazine Kicker.

The French midfielder welcomed new boss Carlo Ancelotti to the club, hinting that his arrival will give players one more chance to show their skills.

"Ancelotti is like a gift for Bayern. I feel confident once again with him at the helm. Having a coach like him urges me to give 150%, he really knows how to treat his players," Ribery stated.

Ribery has started two games under Ancelotti, scoring one goal for Die Roten.

Ribery's relationship with Guardiola was categorized as "tense", with the player often missing games due to injury. The French playmaker ellaborated on why he believes Ancelotti was the right choice to replace the former Barcelona boss, praising his people skills above anything else.

"He's very respectful, he trusts you and he's really close to his players. You have to feel happy when he's around, he's the right man for the job. Players need a coach such like him, like Heynckes or Hitzfield," the player concluded.
