The Scottish manager made his return to the Premier League, succeeding Sam Allardyce at the Stadium of Light.

This weekend saw the return of David Moyes, everyone’s favorite top-flight coach (for all the wrong reasons), to the English Premier League.

With Sam Allardyce leaving his position as Sunderland boss for the English national team’s hot seat, the managerial position was handed to the former Everton and Man United tactician on Saturday.

Moyes infamously left England after being sacked by the Red Devils, but finds himself back in the Premier League after a similarly disastrous spell with Real Sociedad.

Speaking in his first interview after taking over the helm at the Stadium of Light, the Scottish manager had one message for the Black Cats supporters after last season’s relegation battle: “We need to move up.”

Watch his 1st interview.
