Team news

Inter

The Nerazzurri come into this game having won their last friendly match against MLS outfit Real Salt Lake courtesy of goals from Danilo D'Ambrosio and Stevan Jovetic. After seeing their Scudetto challenge crumble mid-season and finishing in fourth, Roberto Mancini's side will be eager to get up and running once the 2016/2017 Serie A season kicks off this August. As such, like many other sides, Inter will be taking place in a series of pre-season matches, and Sunday's game against PSG will be their fourth so far this summer.

Inter will be keen on building on their recent success, especially given that they did not impress in their first two games. The Nerazzurri were held to a scoreless draw against WSG Wattens, a team that plays in Austrian football's second tier before suffering a shock loss to Bulgarian outfit CSKA Sofia. Although there is the ongoing speculation surrounding captain Mauro Icardi and his links to other teams, including Arsenal, Juventus, and Napoli, the Argentinian international is still an Inter player - for now.

PSG

Meanwhile, PSG have seen a slew of departures this summer. Les Parisiens boss Laurent Blanc was replaced by former Sevilla boss Unai Emery. In addition, star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic - who became PSG's all-time top goalscorer in just four seasons - also left on a free transfer to Manchester United, whilst defenders Gregory van der Viel and Lucas Digne moved on to Fenerbahce and Barcelona respectively. Emery so far has opted to bring in a couple of players, however. Polish international Grzegorz Krychowiak has followed him from Sevilla to the French capital, along with Thomas Meunier from Club Brugge and Hatem Ben Afra from Nice.

PSG will have a slew of stars on display for their American tour, including the likes of Angel Di Maria, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Edinson Cavani, and Javier Pastore. Both Krychowiak and Thiago Motta will join up with the team within the next few days after featuring for their respective nations at Euro 2016.
