The Catalan boss coached his first game with the Sky Blues against his former team, who eventually won the match 1-0.

Pep Guardiola's three-year stint with Bayern Munich wasn't forgotten by fans, as Bavarian supporters treated their former coach with a warm welcome in his first game coaching Manchester City.

Despite rumors about a complicated relationship with fans and team execs, each and every one of the fans at Allianz Arena gave him a round of applause when he stepped out of the tunnel and into the pitch.

Carlo Ancelotti also gave Guardiola a warm welcome.

But fans stole the show prior to the game's start as Guardiola greeted his former players.

The game ended with a 1-0 score, thanks to Erdal Oeztuerk's goal after 76 minutes.
