The Italian tactician tipped Pep for success in England, ahead of their clash on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Bayern Munich’s previous manager will go head-to-head with the club and their current boss in a friendly, as die Roten prepare to lock horns with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Ahead of the Spaniard’s debut with the Citizens, the man who succeeded Pep – Carlo Ancelotti – tipped the 45-year-old manager for success in his new adventures in England.

Speaking ahead of their Allianz Arena meeting, the Italian tactician said: “Manchester City has the possibility to win the [Premier League] title.”

Of course, Guardiola will face stiffer competition for the league crown than he did in the Bundesliga, as Mourinho’s Man United, Conte’s Chelsea, Wenger’s Arsenal, Pochettino’s Tottenham, and Klopp’s Liverpool all look to push for the title.
