According to the fan, Messi invited him to his boat and chatted for around 20 minutes.'La Pulga' even offered to get him back to the shore.

The days when Lionel Messi snubbed his fans are over, as the Argentine ace had quite a gesture earlier this week.

Catalan-based newspaper Mundo Deportivo published the story of Suli, a fan that swimmed one kilometer to reach Messi's boat in Ibiza. Contrary to what some may think, Messi invited his fan on board, and even offered him a glass of orange juice.

"He was very humble, his family was also kind to me. I was surprised by the way he treated me. It was just like talking with a regular joe. You should have been there to believe it, he acted like just like every other guy and took me in with no questions asked," Suli stated.

Their overseas meeting concluded with a handshake, but that wasn't the last time they met. Once Messi's boat docked, the Argentine star ran into the fan once again, and he even greeted him like one of his own. Their new meeting concluded once Suli requested to have a picture taken with "La Pulga", which Barcelona's ace conceded.

Messi is expected back with Los Blaugranas next week, as the 2015-2016 La Liga champions get ready to defend their title.
