Lille's Sofiane Boufal might be on his way out from Stade Pierre-Mauroy with Barcelona keen on signing the midfielder.

According to Le10Sport, French side Lille are enduring an economic situation, which has promoted the club to place Boufal in the transfer market. The team still needs to obtain the necessary money before submitting their accounts to the Direction Nationale du Controle de Gestion.

The Moroccan international enjoyed a great 2015/2016 season with Les Dogues, scoring 12 goals and generating four assists for his lads.

His strong performances have impressed the Catalan club, as reigning La Liga champions are interested in the speedy player. Furthermore, Le10Sport reports that Boufal's price tag is 20 million euros, which is an ideal number for the Blaugranas, who have just signed France's Samuel Umtiti and Lucas Digne.

However, Barcelona is not the only club going after the footballer. Elite clubs Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Leicester City and Manchester United have all made enquiries about the 22-year-old.
