One of the most sought-after talents in the German Bundesliga could be on his way to the Premier League.

Germany and Wolfsburg midfielder Julian Draxler could be on his way to the Premier League, as reported by the Daily Mail. The Bundesliga star is said to have requested his club for a transfer following rising interest from Premier League bigwigs Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.

However, Wolfsburg could ask up to 52 million pounds from his suitors before allowing the transfer. The 22-year-old joined Wolfsburg from Schalke 04 last season for 25 million pounds but thanks to his impressive performances for his club in the Bundesliga and country in the just-concluded European Championship, his market value has doubled.

This comes just a few days after Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs had confessed that the superstar could leave the club. He told Bild:

“It is clear that Wolfsburg is not the end of his dreams – neither was Schalke,

"There are clubs like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona or one or other club from England."

It is understood that Arsenal and Man United are leading the chase for his signature. The Gunners have already signed midfielder Granit Xhaka from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach, while Man United boast of having secured the signature of the Bundesliga Player of the Season Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund.

Draxler scored six league goals in 23 appearances for Wolfsburg last season. At the European Championship, he steered Germany to the semi-finals of the competition, having scored one goal and provided one assist in five appearances for Die Mannschaft.
