The 31-year-old winger picked up the injury early in the first-half and was substituted after being ruled unfit to play. As he was carried off the pitch on a stretcher, many football fans did not expected him to return to the pitch afterwards.
The Real Madrid star impressed fans at the end of the regular time when he was seen giving advice to his teammates as the two sides prepared for extra-time. As fate would have it, the hosts opened the scoring in the second-half of extra time through Eder. Was it the work of the magical Ronaldo?
