With only one win inside 90 minutes, many question whether Cristiano and Co. are worthy of Sunday's final.

Portugal are merely one game, one win away from getting their hands on a major silverware, as Selecção das Quinas need only to beat France in the UEFA Euro 2016 final to clinch the European Championship.

However, despite making Sunday’s ultimate fixture, there remain many who question whether Cristiano and Co. even deserve to play in the Stade de France fixture. This is despite the fact that no side have had more attempts than Portugal.

Their manager Fernando Santos, though, was quick to silence the critics, arguing that his boys earned their spot in the UEFA Euro 2016 final.

“We can look at it many ways, but Portugal have made it to the final and we can only reach a final if we win our previous games,” Santos said in a pre-match press conference.

The 2004 runners-up have only won one game in 90 minutes, and needed extra time and a penalty shoot-out to overcome their round of 16 and quarter-final opponents respectively.
