The Gunners have been rather still during the summer transfer window, but Wenger & Co. are getting ready to try and sign Julian Draxler

Arsene Wenger seems to have made up his mind about the player he needs to boost Arsenal's attack. After striking out in their attempt to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan & Jamie Vardy, the Gunners' French boss has set his sights on Julian Draxler, one of Die Mannschaft's top performers in the ongoing UEFA Euro 2016.

Draxler has been the object of Wenger's desire since last summer, but the 22-year old wingman decided to snub the English club to sign a five year deal with Wolfsburg. According to The Sun, Arsenal would pay up to 43 million pounds to sign the rising German talent.

The 22-year-old has scored one goal and handed out one assist during the continental tournament.

Arsenal's transfer activity has been limited all summer. Following the aforementioned snubs, the Gunners were able to sign midfielder Granit Xhaka and Japanese striker Takuma Asano. Nevertheless, Arsenal's fans are desperate to see a marquee player joining the team, and Draxler would fit the bill just fine.

During his first season with Wolfsburg, Draxler scored nine goals in all competitions. He was key in the team's UEFA Champions League campaign, where the Wolves reached the Quarter-final stage for the first time in club history.
