Kroos believes Germany will triumph over France in Euro 2016 semis.

Germany and Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos believes Die Mannschaft have an added advantage when they face Les Bleus on Thursday for their semi-final clash of the European Championship. The 26-year-old claims that the visitors could take advantage of the fan pressure on the hosts to win this match and proceed to the finals where they will face Portugal, who beat Wales 2-0 on Wednesday night.

Kroos is expected to make his 71st appearance for the German national football team on Thursday as he aims to steer his country to its fourth European Championship title. The Daily Mail quotes him as saying:

''There have been more Germany fans [in the stadiums] in previous games in France but on Thursday it won't be like this.

''We have strong opponents against us and there will be support for them but also pressure and I think we will use that.''

He also added that he does not believe Germany are the stronger side in this fixture, even after winning Group C in their first three matches of the competition. Kroos is one of the most prolific midfielders in this competition and is expected to shine against the hosts. He has completed 94% of his passes and provided one assist so far in the competition.
