Wales is set to take on Ronaldo's Portugal for Euro 2016's semi-final and captain Ashley Williams insists his team does not fear the Real Madrid striker.

After Wales thrashed Belgium 3-1 in the UEFA Euro 2016 quarter-finals, the Red Dragons will be aiming to continue to shine against Fernando Santos' side in hopes to book their ticket to the anticipated final.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, the 31-year-old defender admitted containing Cristiano Ronaldo will be a difficult challenge but remained confident that his side can beat the Portuguese lads.

"He is one of the greatest players in the world, but they have other weapons in their team.

"We are not obsessing over that. We'll try and nullify them as a team, as we have all tournament."

Influential midfielder Aaron Ramsey and defender Ben Davies will both miss this match against Ronaldo and Co. due to suspensions. However, Williams believes his men can still perform at their highest level without two of their main players.

"The strength is in the squad, not just the team, the 23 men.

"Whoever the gaffer picks will do the job. We're disappointed for them, but it gives two others a chance to experience the Euros. They'll fill the slots as good as the boys who went out."
