The Chilean midfielder spoke about what Chile needs to do in order to avoid another loss against La Albiceleste.

Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal shared his views about the Copa América Centenario final. Bayern Munich's did not hold back when stating his mind about CONMEBOL's decision to grant the title of "King of America" to the team that wins on Sunday.

"It's madness. The cup that we won in Chile should count a bit more. This tournament is different, we played a whole lot of teams, and if things were as they should, we should defend the title we won in Chile during the next edition, the one taking place in 2019,"Vidal stated.

Vidal had to watch the semi-finals from the stands after being booked for a second time in the tournament against Mexico.

"King" Arturo Vidal also referred to Sunday's clash. The box-to-box midfielder hinted that this game will be even more complicated than the 2015 final, where La Roja won the South American tournament for the first time ever.

"It will be tougher this year. Both teams get to this match in spectacular shape, and most players taking part of this match have developed quite a bit," Vidal added.

Before the press conference came to a close, Vidal shared his views on the reasons why Chile could end up shocking Argentina on Sunday.

"Our form has been excellent. We get to this match in high spirits. If we can correct those mistakes we made during the Group Stage match, we will be able to come up with the win," Vidal concluded
