Reigning champions Leicester kick off their title defense against Hull, whilst the opening day will see a juicy clash between Arsenal and Liverpool.

The fixtures for the highly-anticipated 2016/17 English Premier League season have officially been released, with fans treated to several exciting clashes on the opening day.

The 1st round of the upcoming season will see Liverpool face off with Arsenal – two sides that will be keen on pushing for the title next season – at the Emirates. Elsewhere, Spanish tactician Pep Guardiola will begin life at Manchester City with a home game against Sunderland.

Newly-appointed Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will lead the Red Devils for his very first game in an away tie with Bournemouth, whilst reigning champions Leicester City begin their title defense away to promoted side Hull City.

The opening round of fixtures has given us other interesting match-ups, one of which is Everton vs Tottenham. Ronaldo Koeman will begin coaching the Toffees after leaving Southampton to replace Robert Martinez, but will have to face Mauricio Pochettino’s exciting side on day one.

There is also the matter of a London derby in Matchday one, as Antonio Conte’s first game as Chelsea boss will see his side lock horns with West Ham in their very first tie at their new Olympic Stadium.
