Finally, there will be lasting peace between Chelsea, Jose Mourinho and Eva Carneiro following the recent announcements by the three parties.

Former Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro has finally settled her dismissal claim against the West London club. The settlement is said to be have been done on confidential terms, according to SkySports.

The fan-favorite team doctor had also filed a separate lawsuit against former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho for ‘insulting’ her. Part of a statement released by the 42-year-old doctor read:

"I am relieved that today we have been able to conclude this tribunal case. It has been an extremely difficult and distressing time for me and my family and I now look forward to moving forward with my life."

My priority has always been the health and safety of the players and fulfilling my duty of care as a doctor."

The problem began in the first game of the 2015/16 season when she rushed onto the pitch to attend to an injured Eden Hazard, but Mourinho claimed that the injury was not that serious. The match ended in a two-all draw and Mourinho blamed the team doctor for time-wasting as she attended to the Belgium international.Ex-Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro attends to Eden Hazard during the first game of the 2015/16 seasonOn the other hand, Chelsea, through a statement published on their official website, confirmed that the issue between the three parties had been settled, but did not reveal the details of the settlement.
