GOAL OR NOT? Ecuador fans claim for justice after being denied the go ahead goal

Before the game's final minutes, a cross by Miller Bolaños found its way into the back of the net, but the ref thought the ball had gone out moments earlier.

The first controversial call emerged in this year's Copa América tournament emerged today, as Ecuador was wrongfully disallowed against Brazil.

A counter attack by Ecuador found its way to Miller Bolaños' feet. The skillful striker sent a cross into Brazil's 5-yard box which found its way into the back of the net, thanks to some poor goalkeeping skills by Brazilian shot-stopper Allisson. As Ecuador's players started celebrating, the linesman decided to cut their celebration short because he thought the ball had left the pitch before Bolaños struck the ball.
