It was a sad day for Barcelona fans after the club officially announced the departure of one of their long-serving players Dani Alves. The Brazil international is set to join Serie A giants Juventus ahead of the new season, according to several media reports. prThe club revealed the heart-breaking news to journalists during a press conference held on Thursday.

The outspoken defender joined the Spanish giants in 2008 and spent eight seasons at the Nou Camp. He made 247 appearances and scored 14 league goals in the process.
