Euro 2016 hosts France will continue their preparations for the tournament by taking on Cameroon in a friendly match at the Stade de la Beaujoire on Monday, May 30th. Here are

As hosts of this summer's Euro tournament, France will naturally be hoping to make sure they win the coveted prize on home soil. Didier Deschamps's side have been accordingly warming up for the big event since last year with a series of friendlies against numerous teams, and the next one up on the roster for Les Bleus will be Cameroon on Monday.

France

To date, France have won two Euro titles, and will be seeking to win their first on home soil since 1984. Les Bleus will be coming into this match having won their last two friendlies against Russia and the Netherlands, and will be hoping to make it three wins in three since the start in 2016 when they take on Cameroon tomorrow.

France have won all but one of their past eight games. The last defeat for them was a 2-0 reversal against England on November 17th of last year, which snapped a five match winning streak. Nonetheless, they will be the obvious favorites to make it an eighth win out of nine friendlies on Monday at the Stade de la Beaujoire.

As is the case in any friendly, this will present a good opportunity for many of the less-often used players to force their way into Deschamps's plans for who will ultimately comprise his first-choice starting XI. Following this match, France next will take on Scotland before kicking off their Euro 2016 campaign with a clash against Romania on June 10th.

Cameroon

A lot has changed for the African nation as of late. For starters, they have a new man in charge. Reportedly, Belgian tactician Hugo Broos acquired his new position as the Cameroon NT boss after seeing an ad for the job online, and he now will be tasked with making sure Les Lions Indomptables qualify for the 2017 AFCON tournament.

Well so far, it seems like things have gone well for them. Despite only winning one of their past five games, Cameroon currently sit on top of their group and look set to book their ticket at next year's tournament.

To date, Cameroon and France have only faced off once before in a friendly match - and that finished as a one-all draw back on October 4, 2000. Will either side be able to find a breakthrough this time around?
