According to Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri, Alvaro Morata would be better off staying with the Serie A club for the next season.

Despite Juventus ace Alvaro Morata not being a goal-scoring machine, as he only managed to net eight times in 34 appearances for his club this season, he has caught the eye of European elite clubs due to his brilliant performances throughout the 2015/2016 campaign.

Morata, has been heavily linked to former team Real Madrid with Los Blancos having the option to buy the Spain forward back this summer for €30 million. The 23-year old also has strong interests from Arsenal, as the Gunners are monitoring his next move closely.

However, Allegri firmly believes a departure from Juventus would be a mistake for the Spaniard in regards to his growth and development at either of those clubs, telling Unomattina:

"His goal in the Coppa Italia final is a sign of continuity, he's a young guy, and he needs to stay a few more years at Juventus in order to grow.

"I have a team full of very strong strikers. This team is hard to improve, so the way we must do it is by improving individual players.

"Improving by buying players from other teams is difficult for us."

The Italian side is expecting to hear the striker's decision within the next 15 days.
