Hector Bellerin has insisted he has no plans of joining his former club Barcelona.

Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin has pledged his loyalty to the North London club amid interest from his former club FC Barcelona. The speedy right-back is widely seen as Dani Alves’ replacement at Nou Camp, but seems disinterested in returning to Spain. Bellerin, 21, is a product of Barca’s La Masia academy. He joined Arsene Wenger’s side in 2011 at the age of 16 and signed his first professional deal with the club two years later. He is also widely seen as one of the most promising talents in the world of football.

In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, he revealed:

“I say every year that England is my home now,

“I’ve been living in England for many years. I have my family there, I’m living with my girlfriend. I am very happy there, so I do not see myself anywhere else other than Arsenal.”

Back to Dani Alves, the hard-talking Brazilian is said to be at the peak of his career, and at the age of 33, he may have only one or two more seasons with the Catalan giants. That is where Bellerin comes into the picture but as things stand now, it would take quite an effort to lure him out of the Emirates Stadium.
