Manchester United fans have finally found a reason to smile.

After a disappointing season that saw them knocked out of the Champions League, Europa League, Capital One Cup, and the Premier League title race, Man Utd fans have finally found a reason to smile. The FA Cup, a title that had evaded them since 2004, was their only remaining hope of winning silverware this season and the Red Devils did not disappoint. Jason Puncheon caused a scare for Louis Van Gaal’s side when he fired a screamer past a helpless David De Gea in the second half. 

But the visitors did not give up; Juan Mata’s goal took the match to extra time before Jesse Lingard completed the mission with a late screamer to hand the troubled English giants the much-needed victory. The Old Trafford outfit has now won the cup competition 12 times, same as their rivals Arsenal. No other Premier League side has won more than 12 FA Cup titles.

And as expected, Man Utd fans took to Twitter to celebrate the win, but some were not impressed by the achievement despite the 12-year wait. We have compiled some of the best reactions:
