With less than a month remaining until the Copa América Centenario, the USMNT are gearing up for the big event by featuring in some friendlies over the next couple of weeks. As hosts of this summer's event, Jurgen Klinsmann's men will be warming up with a match against Puerto Rico this Sunday, followed by a clash with Ecuador on the 25th, and then wrap things up with a meeting against Bolivia three days later.
Given that the MLS season is still in full swing, the USMNT set-up will look very different from the one that Klinsmann will be using next month. This will naturally give some players a chance to make their senior debuts. In addition, European based players like Chelsea's Matt Miazga, Bayern Munich's Julian Green, Sunderland's DeAndre Yedlin, and Borussia Monchengladbach's Fabian Johnson will likely be jostling for a spot in the starting XI.
As for Puerto Rico, they are currently ranked 152nd in the world. Nicknamed El Huracán Azul (The Blue Hurricane), and have never qualified for a World Cup or Gold Cup so far in their entire history.
