Fans don't seem to understand that supporting your team has nothing to do with hurting the opposition.
The game between West Ham and Manchester United set to be played today had to be delayed for 45 minutes, as the bus that transported the Red Devils to the stadium was withheld and attacked by a number of fans, who threw objects against the vehicle while in motion. Some of those objects found their way to the bus' windows, breaking some of them and prompting the intervention of the police.
The game is crucial for both sides, as Manchester United could leapfrog Manchester City in the race to secure Champions League football next season, while West Ham needs a victory to have a fighting chance to play in the Europa League.
