After sealing their spot in the UEFA Champions League final, Los Blancos can't afford losing points if they want to keep fighting to win La Liga. Don't miss their crucial match against Valencia.

Real Madrid may be one point behind La Liga's leaders, but they must gather every ounce of talent available to try and overcome what could be a tricky outing against Valencia.

Los Blancos will be forced to do their work without knowing how their opponents in La Liga's title race are doing, since all games will be celebrated at the same time to avoid any shade of suspicion, a measure the Spanish top flight took a few years ago.

On the other side of the pitch, Valencia will try to prove they can shock another title contender, just like they did a few weeks back when they defeated Barcelona at Camp Nou stadium. Los Naranjeros are only playing to defend their pride, since they are thirteen points away from European football spots.

Real Madrid

Zinedine Zidane's men are currently on a roll, winning their last ten La Liga matches. Their strength at home has been bullet-proof, considering that Los Blancos have scored 38 goals at home since Zidane's appointment back in January.

For this match, the French boss will not have two key players available, as Keylor Navas and Gareth Bale have been ruled out due to injuries. The good news for Los Blancos' tactician come courtesy of Casemiro and Karim Benzema, who could help out against Los Naranjeros if Zidane decides to include them in the team's lineup.

Valencia

Since Gary Neville's sacking, Valencia has returned to their usual form, although they were unable to reach European tournament spots for next seasons. Right now, Pako Ayestarán's crew has won three out of the last five matches, but their most recent games have concluded without a win (2-2 vs Getafe & 0-2 vs Villarreal).

For this game,  the white-and-black side will not have three players available due to injury. Bakkali, Denis Cheryshev and José Gayá will watch the game from the sidelines, while André Gomes remains a doubt for the Spanish coach. His availability will be determined prior to the game, since he was included in the team's squad travelling to Madrid.

Head to head

Real Madrid has been able to win only one of their most recent six games against Valencia, including two consecutive draws at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Earlier this season, Valencia and Real Madrid played an entertaining match that ended with a 2-2 draw. That was Rafa Benitez's last match as Real Madrid's boss.
