Pep has revealed that there is a dressing-room mole hurting Bayern Munich's image.

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has blamed an unnamed individual in the dressing room for damaging the club’s image. The former Barcelona boss was speaking after the disappointing Champions League elimination in the hands of Atletico Madrid. The Spaniard was allegedly involved in heated exchange of words with the club’s physiotherapists, whom he accused of taking too long to ensure his players were fit for the semi-final clash.

However, Pep seemed to have been angered by the fact that reports of the dressing room row had landed in the ears of the media. He said:

"Whoever has spoken has done it to hit me."

During his pre-match press conference on Friday, the experienced tactician also admitted that indeed, there was a row in the dressing room after the UCL clash with Diego Simeone’s men. He told reporters:

"Usually what happens inside the dressing room remains inside the dressing room,

"But I'm not here next season anyway so it's not my problem, but Bayern's.

"It's happened plenty of times over these past three years.

"It's normal for me to talk to my players and staff and give them my opinion, but there are people here who are talking because they want to hurt me.

"Maybe this person will still be here next season and clearly they haven't realised that they are not damaging me, but the club and the team."

Speaking of his tenure as Bayern boss, he added:

"I've done my best here, but if you say that I had to win the Champions League, then I have failed.

"Go ahead and write that I have failed."
