Liverpool legend Ian Rush revealed his thoughts on the English side's crucial upcoming semi-final match against Villarreal.

After Jurgen Klopp's men lost 1-0 at El Madrigal, Liverpool is aiming to make a comeback in the second leg of this anticipated game in hopes to knock the Yellow Submarines out of the competition. Although, Liverpool has been enjoying a great run this season, defeating Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United, the Reds must deliver a great performance in order to reach the Europa League final.

Even with the home field advantage, Klopp's men need to come into this match with complete determination if they wish to book a spot in the final. However, the former Liverpool man has warned his side not to underestimate the Spanish club.

Speaking to Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, the former Wales striker also worries about the high expectations people have for Klopp's lads stating:

"It will be a very tight game, but the thing that worries me is the people are expecting us to win now."

“Against Manchester United [in the last-16] we were brilliant and could have scored four or five, and the Borussia Dortmund comeback was something special."

“Now we’re only 1-0 down and people are saying we could go on to win 3-1, but it’s not going to be that easy."

“Villarreal are a very good side and they had good win at the weekend as well [scoring two great goals against Valencia], so they’ll be coming with lots of confidence."

“But it’s at Anfield, so Liverpool will probably change the way they play, so we have to wait and see.”
