Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has expressed that in order to stop the Spanish giants, his side needs to do more than just restrain Cristiano Ronaldo.

Real Madrid boss Zidane has confirmed that his Portuguese striker is '100 percent' fit for Wednesday's clash against the Sky Blues after missing out on the goalless draw last week at the Etihad Stadium. However, Pellegrini is not focused solely on Madrid's ace Ronaldo, as he believes his side must perform well against the entire Spanish team if they want to clinch a golden ticket to the Champions League final.

During Pellegrini's pre-match press conference he admitted that his lads must focus and work as a team in order to get the results they wish for.

"Cristiano will always be a different player. He scores a lot of goals and has throughout his six years here."

"However, I don't think Real are just Cristiano Ronaldo. We must work as a team defending and attacking. It is not just against Ronaldo but against Real Madrid."

However, let's not forget about the Citizen's top goalscorer Sergio Aguero, who has netted 28 goals this season proving to be a vital attacker up front. Nonetheless, Manchester City's boss is hoping his team delivers a good performance against Los Blancos in order to get to the final, as he stated:

"We will continue trying to play in exactly the same way. The pressure in the Bernabeu is high pressure but I think we have the personality and the football to try to beat them."

"Everyone must trust in their team. We trust in ours and I hope we can demonstrate it in the 90 minutes."

"We are sure we will need to make a very good performance to reach the final it would be the first time we've reached it."

The Chilean native will return to the Santiago Bernabeu after his trophyless run as a Real Madrid manager back in 2010 hoping for revenge.

Can Aguero and Co. walk out of the Madrid capital victorious?
