The Dutch boss seems ready to try and deny the Foxes from clinching the EPL title at Old Trafford this Sunday.

Despite having quite a few title winners in his squad, Manchester United's Dutch boss Louis Van Gaal revealed that the team's "lack of experience" was the main reason to rule out the Red Devils out of this year's title race.

During his pre-match press conference ahead of the potential title-clinching game for Leicester City, the seasoned tactician revealed he knew in advance his team would be tough to beat, but there would be no Premier League glory for them, despite having eleven players that have won titles in the English top flight or abroad.

"The players we are now playing are not used to being champions. I don't think (Matteo) Darmian is used to it - De Gea was never a champion," Van Gaal stated.

LVG hasn't been able to win any trophies with Man United since he was appointed. He will have the chance to do so in the upcoming FA Cup final.

The former Ajax & Barcelona coach hinted that he expected to undergo what he called a "transition period", following Sir Alex Ferguson's long-term as the team's manager.

"When I took over we had five or six players above 32/33 - you have to buy other players. There were not too1 many young players. It is a process of transition. Now we are fighting for the Champions League and still in the FA Cup. We have to fight for something and we shall do it,"LVG added.

Finally, the former Netherlands' boss referred to their opponents on Sunday. A win for the Foxes could guarantee them the Premier League title, and his players must find that as a motivation to try and denying their celebration at their home turf.

Hopefully we can beat Leicester City. We cannot allow them to be champions this weekend at Old Trafford. They shall be champions a week later. We don't spoil the party, only postpone it a little bit," Van Gaal concluded.
