No players from Bayern Munich were included in the all-star lineup, while Man City had one more player nominated than their opponents, Real Madrid.

Following this week's semi-finals, the UEFA Champions League's Twitter feed revealed its "Team of the Week", which includes six Atlético Madrid players

Los Colchoneros dominated this week's lineup as the only side capable to defeat their competition. In fact, Bayern Munich was the only team out of the four semi-finalists with no players included in the star-studded cast. Both of the Madrid-based strikers, Fernando Torres and Antoine Griezmann, were nominated by UEFA's experts, while midfielder Saul (the only player to score a goal in both first legs), was also included in the ideal team.

Regarding the other semi-final matchup, Manchester City "defeated" Real Madrid by having one more player nominated. Joe Hart, Vincent Kompany and Fernandinho were nominated to represent the citizens, while only two of Los Blancos' players were included.
