Arturo Vidal has given a moral boost to the Germans before their crucial Champions League semi-finals clash against Atletico Madrid this Wednesday.

The Chilean international wants to end his career at the Allianz Arena, as he claims Bayern Munich is the best team in the world. Even though at first the former Juventus man had some troubles adapting to life as a Bavarian, he has now fully blended into the team resulting in his recent astonishing form.

Pep Guardiola’s men take on Los Rojiblancos in the first leg of the Champions League and Vidal is confident his team will perform well to clinch the ticket to the Milan final.

He recently expressed his plans of staying as a Bayern Munich player until he hangs up his boots.

"Thanks to all the effort I have put in over time I'm now at the best team in the world, I hope to remain here until I retire," Vidal told ESPN FC.

"Now I know my team-mates. We are more than a group, we are like a family, and this gives me a lot of confidence."

"At first it was difficult because I came from a different style of football, I had to get used to things, I had to adapt to a new team, new players. But I knew that at some point I would feel comfortable and be able to show everyone who I am as a player, like I showed everyone at Juventus. That moment has come."

Furthermore, the creative midfielder has had much success in the past winning important titles with Chile and Juventus, but Vidal has yet to have a Champions League trophy under his belt.

"I believe it's the most important title for a player, and I hope this year I can win it and continue to grow," he stated.

"I think Bayern is the favourites, because of the players we have, because of the manager we have, because of what he is doing, because Bayern always gives teams trouble in this stage of the Champions League."

"It's difficult for any team to win against Bayern."
