Suarez has proven he is a man of his word.

Barcelona star Luis Suarez kept his promise to dedicate his goal to a sick child he had met before the launch of the Relatos Solidarios de Deporto book. During the launch, the Uruguay international broke into tears while narrating how he met the child suffering from a rare condition known as Phenylketonuria, abbreviated as PKU.

The ex-Liverpool man also revealed that he had promised the sick child that he would dedicate his next goal to her.

And when Barcelona faced Sporting Gijon at the Nou Camp, the 29-year-old scored the second goal for the hosts in the 64th minute. He then ran to the touchline and displayed a T-shirt bearing the child’s name. Suarez went ahead to score four goals as Barcelona cruised to a 6-0 over Gijon. This was his second four-goal haul in less than a week. He is now the leading goal scorer in La Liga with 34 goals.

And the priceless moment got football fans on Twitter tweeting about it:
