The Special One has not even taken over at Old Trafford, but has reportedly already given the green light on squad rebuilding.

Jose Mourinho is not even (officially) the next Manchester United boss, but the Portuguese boss has already reportedly sanctioned three transfers for the Red Devils for the upcoming summer window.

If speculation were to be believed, The Special One will soon replace Louis Van Gaal as manager at Old Trafford after a rough two seasons under the Dutchman’s spell, with squad rebuilding already under way.

This is according to British tabloid The Sun, reporting that the former Chelsea boss has given the Red Devils board the green light to make moves for three players: John Stones, Renato Sanches, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Of the three players, a move to sign Zlatan will be most welcomed by the fans, as the 20-time Premier League champions have struggled in the attacking department with Anthony Martial, Memphis Depay, and Wayne Rooney unable to find the back of the net regularly.

The Swedish forward will be out of contract once this season ends, with the player revealing in March that he’ll leave, as reports claim the 32-year-old will join Man United if Van Gaal is shown the door.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, PSG, Chelsea, UEFA Champions League

Benfica’s Sanches has won rave reviews this campaign, attracting interest from several of Europe’s elite, but the Red Devils are believed favorites to land the £40m-rated midfielder.

Last on the list is Everton center-back John Stones, a defender whom Jose Mourinho tried to sign but failed last summer whilst at Chelsea.

John Stones, Marcus Rashford, Manchester United, Everton, English Premier League

The Toffess rejected three bids from the Blues, one worth £50m, but Roberto Martinez is expected to listen to offers for the Englishman after an inconsistent season from Stones.
