Stoke City welcome Tottenham Hotspur at the Britannia Stadium for their Premier League fixture on Monday.

With six games remaining in the race for the Premier League title, Spurs are hoping to register a crucial win away from home when they travel to the Britannia Stadium on Monday evening to face Stoke City. The Potters are currently struggling, having won only one of their last five league games. They now look like a pale shadow of the side that thumped Spurs 3-0 at the same venue last season.

Currently sitting at the second position on the log with 65 points, 7 behind leaders Leicester City, Spurs could find themselves 10 points behind if they fail to win at Stoke, and the Foxes beat The Hammers on Sunday.

With the reality of the league title moving away from their reach if they fail to beat Mark Hughes’ men, the Lillywhites are expected to go all out for the three points just like they did against Man United last weekend.

The hosts, however, have some injury concerns; their lead striker Marco Arnautovic is still nursing a knee injury but could pass a late fitness test, while Marc Muniesa and Glenn Whelan are doubtful due to a knock and back injury respectively. Jack Butland remains sidelined until January, while Marc Wilson, Glen Johnson and Jonathan Walters could return at the end of April.

On the other hand, Spurs, who boast of having the lethal Harry Kane to their ranks, could play without Nabil Bentaleb who is nursing a knee injury. Basically, coach Mauricio Pochettino is expected to retain the same squad that hammered Man United 3-0 at White Hart Lane last weekend.
