Divorck Origi was in fine form for Liverpool as the Anfield side cruised to a 4-1 win over Stoke City on Sunday.

A section of Liverpool fans have fired a warning shot to Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund ahead of their return leg fixture of the UEFA Europa League at Anfield.

This was a result of the excellent performance by Belgium youngster Divock Origi, who came in as a substitute to score a brace for the Reds. It should be remembered that the youngster also scored Liverpool’s only goal in their Europa League clash with Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park in Germany. The goal gave the visitors an advantage ahead of their return-leg fixture at Anfield as a result of the away goal rule. Origi, son of former Kenya international Mike Okoth, has now netted three goals in his last two games for the Reds.

Alberto Moreno had opened the scoring for the hosts as early as the 8th minute of the game, but the lead was cancelled 14 minutes later through Bojan Krkic. Daniel Sturridge then got himself on the scoresheet in the 32nd minute. Origi came in as a substitute and netted twice in 16 minutes to give the hosts a 4-1 lead.

As a result of his sterling performance, some Liverpool fans believe they have nothing to fear when they face Thomas Tuchel’s men next Thursday. Here are some of the best reactions:
