The Red Devil’s bus was reportedly stuck in heavy traffic on its way to the White Hart Lane to face the Premier League title contenders. The news of the delay did not go unnoticed on Twitter as a section of Man United fans pointed their fingers towards an unexpected direction; Jose Mourinho.
Although the former Chelsea boss did not play a part in causing the delay, a section of The Red Devil’s fans jokingly linked him with the unfortunate incident due to his infamous ''parking the bus’’ theory during his reign at the Stamford Bridge. The Special One was quoted several times during his time with The Blues suggesting that he would instruct his players to play a defensive game, commonly known as ''parking the bus,’’ to avoid a loss.
And since the 53-year-old has been persistently linked with a move to Old Trafford to replace Dutch tactician Louis Van Gaal in the summer, it was no surprise that some fans believed he could have played a part in ''parking the bus’’ in the London traffic.
