The Bianconeri boss has dismissed rumors linking him with Real Madrid, ahead of Saturday’s AC Milan clash.

Despite initial fears over Antonio Conte’s successor, Massimiliano Allegri has proven his capabilities since taking over Juventus, hence the desire for the former AC Milan boss to stay on board at the Old Lady.

However, rumors have linked the 48-year-old with some of Europe’s (other) elite clubs, including the like of Real Madrid and Chelsea prior to signing Azzurri boss Antonio Conte.

Nonetheless, having led the Bianconeri to a league and cup double in his debut season, and a Champions League runners-up finish, Allegri has now come out to cool down the rumors linking him with a Serie A exit.

Speaking ahead of the clash with his former employers the Rossoneri, the Juventus boss revealed that the issue of a contract extension with the Scudetto holders is a mere formality, whilst also dismissing talks that his side have already retained their Serie A crown.

“My contract extension is only a matter of meeting and talking, no problems there,” the Italian tactician revealed in a pre-AC Milan vs Juventus press conference.

“I’m not waiting for Real Madrid because I’m at Juventus and I feel good here.”
