The Portuguese coach decided to return to the sidelines next summer, even if some teams wanted to sign him during the ongoing season.

Even if he has been linked to a sensational return to Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho has sorted things out in his mind.

The Portuguese coach, who has been linked to Manchester United's job every time the Red Devils lose a game, revealed in an interview published by Marca he will coach wherever he feels "loved" by fans and the team's execs.

That statement comes hours after he was linked to Real Madrid's coaching job, where Zinedine Zidane's short stint hasn't been as successful as some may have wanted.

The former Chelsea tactician revealed that "feeling love" is crucial for him to do his best.

"I'll be back next summer. I'm going to take my ideas wherever I feel loved. I like to work in a place where I'm truly appreciated. After a few months of down time, I'll be back with all the energy I've got, and being surrounded by an environment in which I feel comfortable is one of the things I won't trade," Mourinho stated.

The Portuguese tactician revelaed he was approached by a number of teams to work during the ongoing season after he was sacked by Chelsea, but he chose to start the next season with a new project.

"I could have taken a coaching job back in January or February, but as time went by, I chose not to take those options. Right now, I've got some offers, and all I have to do is to choose right and put it all on paper," the manager added.
