A Swedish doctor has accused Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic of doping.

Swedish doctor Ulf Karlsson has accused Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic of doping during his stint with Italian giants Juventus. According to AS, the doctor questioned Zlatan’s incredible weight gain over a period of six months. He said:

"Zlatan put on 10 kilos in six months during his time at Juventus. I think he was doping, that’s how it seems to me."

He then added:

"He put on 10 kilos of muscle in six months. It’s impossible to do that in such a short space of time."

Karlsson also accused former Juve superstar Albin Ekdal of the same offense:

"[Ekdal] put on eight kilos while he was at the club. I think there was a culture of it at Juventus. They had a club doctor who was suspended for 22 months."

It would be interesting to see how the bullish forward, who was on target for the French giants on Wednesday against Manchester City in the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League, will react to the allegations. The 34-year-old could decide to sue the doctor for the allegations which could affect his career that seems to get better with age.

Meanwhile, the rumors surrounding Ibra’s possible move to Manchester United at the end of the season have intensified. The former Barcelona, AC Milan, Juventus and Inter Milan man could leave the French capital this summer when his contract with Les Parisiens comes to an end and according to BetVictor, The Red Devils are favourites to sign him by the start of September this year.
