Jack Wilshere was reported to be involved in a nightclub bust-up in the early hours of Sunday, following the Gunners' 4-0 win against Watford.

Once more, Jack Wilshere made the headlines for the wrong reasons.

The 24-year-old midfielder, who seems to be getting closer to a first team return after recovering from a broken leg, was allegedly involved in an argument in a nightclub, forcing the establishment's security to kick him out. According to the Daily Mail, an inebriated Wilshere argued with police officers outside the club around 2:15 a.m., but was able to go back home as no one was arrested by the policemen who arrived at the scene.

Wilshere wasn't in breach of Arsenal's code of conduct, but his history of problems with the law could get him in serious trouble with Arsene Wenger, who will sit down with the player to find out what really happened on Sunday's early hours.

Since June, 2015, the player hasn't been able to play a single competitive match. His long-term leg injury has prevented him from playing with the Gunners, and Sunday's bust-up is just the latest of his antics off-the-pitch, which include being cautioned by the police after a brawl in 2010, accepting a police warning after trying to spit on a cab driver wearing a Spurs hat and being spotted smoking during a number of parties, including a Las Vegas pool party following England's World Cup elimination in 2014.

Wilshere, who just returned to his the pitch for a training session last week, faces a potential sanction by the club, but he must clarify what happened outside the nightclub in order to escape a ban or a possible sacking.
