Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s list of suitors keeps growing longer as his days at PSG come to an end.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola has sensationally revealed that the striker has received transfer requests from top Premier League clubs, except Manchester City. The 34-year-old Sweden international could leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season when his contract expires in the summer. There have been several reports from England claiming that the former FC Barcelona, AC Milan and Inter Milan man could be headed to the Premier League, most likely at Old Trafford to join Manchester United, who are struggling in their hunt for goals following Wayne Rooney’s fitness issues and inconsistent form.

Speaking to Italian publication Gazzetta delo Sport, Raiola said:

“With the exception of Manchester City, where there is Guardiola, all the big clubs have knocked on the door.”

But why not Man City, a club that has the financial might to sign any striker under the sun? Well, Pep Guardiola, who is set to take over The Citizens at the end of the 2015/16 season, is the answer. Zlatan’s relationship with Pep has been cold for quite a while now. Last year in November, the PSG man was quoted describing Pep as ‘not a man’ in an interview with CNN. And in his autobiography, the bullish forward also described the Bayern Munich man as a ‘spineless coward.’

The two had a bitter relationship during their days at Barcelona, and that was one of the reasons why Zlatan opted out of the Camp Nou. In England, some Man United fans have been hoping that Zlatan would join their club over the summer alongside Jose Mourinho, hence setting up the perfect rivalry with their City rivals after Pep’s arrival at the Etihad Stadium.
