Follow their thrilling 3-2 victory over Germany last Thursday, the Three Lions are ready to roar again against Holland.

In their previous international friendly match against Germany, England came from two goals down to drown Joachim Low’s men 3-2 thanks to a superb performance from Jamie Vardy, Eric Dier and Harry Kane. And as the Englishmen welcome the Netherlands at the Wembley stadium, they are expected to continue with their good run, given the fact that the visitors seem to be struggling in their most recent games.

Holland come into this fixture as the underdogs having failed to qualify for Euro 2016. However, all is not lost for the visitors based on their most recent performance against France. Despite going down 3-2, they managed to come from two goals down to momentarily hold the Frenchmen at 2-2. All they need to do now is to ensure they convert their chances into goals and avoid conceding, something that denied them at least a draw against France.

England come into this fixture having lost only one of their last five games. The only loss was against Spain back in November in an international friendly match. Since losing to Spain, the Three Lions have roared past France, and most recently, Germany.

The other side of the pitch presents a struggling Holland side that has lost three of its last international games. But before losing to France, Holland had beaten Wales 2-3 back in November 2015.

Back in England, the hosts boast of a wide range of attacking options, led by the lethal Jamie Vardy. The Leicester City star was instrumental in his side’s 3-2 win over Germany and will want to continue with the impressive form when they welcome Holland to Wembley.

The Oranje, on the other hand, have will be banking on their young talents such as Memphis Depay to lead the hunt for goals as Virgil van Dijk takes care of the defence to avoid soaking goals.

But interestingly, England have not beaten the Netherlands in an international friendly since May 1982. The Three Lions have also failed to register a win against Holland in their last three international friendly games. Their most recent international friendly clash was back in February 2012 when captain Arjen Robben, who is unavailable for Tuesday’s clash, netted a brace as Huntelaar sealed a 3-2 win for the visitors.
