Leicester City’s good run in the Premier League this season has provided the much-needed exposure for some of their top players.

England manager Roy Hodgson has handed Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater his first international call-up. The Three Lions are preparing to face Germany and Netherlands and Drinkwater’s role at Leicester City could not go unnoticed. The Foxes' midfield star has been in sensational form for Claudio Ranieri this season, having steered them to the top of the league with 63 points.

The 26-year-old Englishman began his career at Manchester United’s youth side between 2009 and 2012. During that period, he was sent to Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City, Watford and Barnsley on loan before signing for Leicester City in 2012. However, captain Wayne Rooney is conspicuously missing from the squad due to his knee injury. He has made 157 appearances for Claudio Ranieri's men and scored 11 goals since joining the King Power Stadium outfit.
