The Red Devils look to make it three wins out of three with their trip to the Hawthorns on Sunday.

After a first half of the season which can be described as nothing short of a disaster, Louis Van Gaal appears to be redeeming himself, as Manchester United are inches off a Champions League spot.

The Red Devils are level on point with neighbors Manchester City, with only 10 games remaining this season, albeit the Citizens have a game in hand.

Next up for the 20-time English Premier League champions is a trip to West Brom. Will Man United grab a third straight win?

Team news – Who’s fit and who’s not?

Man United’s long injury list has not let up yet, as the Red Devils will head into the weekend clash without the likes of Wayne Rooney, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Phil Jones, Ashley Young, and Luke Shaw (all injured).

Fellaini and Valencia are unlikely to feature due to lack of fitness, with Chris Smalling and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson doubtful for Sunday’s match.

Tony Pulis will also have to make do without a few players, with the likes of James Morrison, Callum McManaman, Chris Brunt, and Jonny Evans.

Head to head

The last time these two sides met in the Premier League, it was Van Gaal’s who came away with all three points courtesy of a 2-0 win at Old Trafford.

A look at their last six encounters shows an evenly contested affair, though, with both teams winning twice each and drawing the remaining two.

Van Gaal confident his side can finish in top four

In fact, the Baggies have won two consecutive away games against Man United prior to this season’s meeting; however, it is when playing at home do West Brom suffer.

The Red Devils are undefeated in their last 8 trips to The Hawthorns in all competitions, with the Baggies grabbing a point twice in their last six home clashes: in October 2014 and May 2013.
